AN ALADDIN’S CAVE OF TREASURE

During my whistle-stop of the North West of England, I visited many bookstores, but Broadhursts of Southport was undoubtedly the most interesting.  Selling both new and secondhand books, it’s an Aladdin’s Cave of treasure.  It’s the first bookshop I’ve ever been in where they have an open fire for customers to warm themselves by, which given how cold it was the day of my visit, was certainly most welcome.
